Build down in the same suit. An empty column can hold any exposed card.
Forty cards on the table
Two complete decks make 104 cards. Your opening has ten columns of four face-up cards and a stock of 64. Every tableau card is visible, but only each column’s exposed end can move. The columns stay numbered when the board wraps into two rows on a smaller screen.
One card at a time
Build down in the same suit: a seven of clubs fits on an eight of clubs. An empty column accepts any exposed card. You cannot lift a whole sequence, move a covered card or wrap a King onto an Ace. Make temporary spaces when you need to rearrange a sequence.
Two homes for each suit
Each suit has two numbered foundation slots. Start either matching slot with an Ace, then build upward to King. The cards from the two physical decks may mix within a slot. Once a card is home, it stays there; Undo can reverse your last action.
A single pass through the stock
Draw one card onto the waste. Only its top card can move to a column or foundation; moving it exposes the card underneath. There is no recycle. When the stock runs out, keep playing the cards you can still reach.
Your full-deal Journey
Put all 104 cards into eight complete foundations to unlock the next deal. These twelve independently authored openings have verified solutions under the same full-deck rules. Your choices can still block progress. Their level order is not a measured difficulty ranking.
Retry restores the same opening and retains earned levels. Hints suggest legal actions using visible cards, not a guaranteed winning path. Your latest 100 actions can be undone.
Touch and keyboard controls
Select one exposed tableau or waste card, then select its destination. Foundation slots identify both suit and slot number. Covered cards show their ranks but cannot be selected. Tab reaches playable cards and controls; Enter or Space activates them. Escape or selecting the same card again cancels.
Where is my progress saved?
Your deal, Undo history and unlocked levels stay in this browser only. Forty Thieves does not sync with an account or another device. Clearing browser storage removes those saves.
